Canvas Club Glamping Camp

Every Canvas Club booking is private and the team is at your disposal for any issues. We run a maximum of one other booking in parallel, but this is also completely private and located about 200m apart.

Bookings start between 3:30 pm and 4:30 pm depending on sunset. The clients check out after a relaxing desert breakfast. Usually, our clients depart from the desert around 9:30/10 am. From then on it gets very hot in the desert. Self-drive guests will be awaited at the Safari Desert Camp Office (on the other side of the Shell gas station) in Bidiyah.

We set up the tents about 35km from Bidiyah surrounded by dunes.

We are not allowed to buy alcohol to offer it at the camp. But we are allowed to serve wine and spirits to our guests if these are brought to the desert by themselves. These can be purchased at the duty-free store in Muscat airport after arrival.

Especially the winter evenings and nights can get fresh and we recommend a warm sweater and cozy, long clothes for the evening hours. We recommend packing a small backpack/bag for the desert night so you have more space in your tent. Your vehicle will be parked right next to your tent.

We recommend our camel ride upon arrival into the sunset for a beautiful atmosphere with incomparable panorama. But of course it is also possible to go directly to your camp by vehicle.

Our camp is completely self-sufficient and without a generator and electricity. In vehicles, you have the possibility to charge electronic devices with an adapter. You have no cell phone and wifi reception in the camp, with us it means switching off and enjoying nature.
