Our partners meet the highest quality standards and we place a great emphasis on sustainable tourism, which includes conservation and protection of local culture.
The protection of local culture is of great importance in the tourism sector. We respect the local people and promote cultural exchange. In our tours we emphasize respect and tolerance. We prefer small private groups and follow the instructions of our tour guides.
We are committed to ensuring that the economic added value of tourism benefits the countries of travel as well. The local population should profit fairly and have good working conditions. We reject discrimination based on origin, religion or ethnicity. We make sure that accommodations comply with certain standards and treat their employees fairly.
Our goal is to ensure that tourism revenues benefit both protected areas and the local population. We encourage local ownership, use local products, and support the interests of local people over foreign investors. Individual tourism is close to our hearts. For instance, we support a coconut workshop where Omani women make handcrafted products such as accessories, bowls and furniture. We also support similar initiatives such as camel farms, potteries and plantations.

The protection of nature is another very important concern for us. Therefore, together with you, we are committed to make our world a cleaner world. We fight against garbage and littering in Oman. On that account, we organize regular cleaning campaigns and try our best to sensitize people for the garbage problem we are facing with. Litter on roads, in forests and wadis has far-reaching consequences for animals and the environment than we can possibly imagine. We are also committed to keeping the sea and beaches clean to prevent the agonizing deaths of marine animals. Everyone can help by not throwing trash into nature, picking up trash, and participating in cleanup events. We are also looking for volunteers for our clean-up projects. Make a statement together with us and get involved for a cleaner world.
Minimizing the use of plastic during tourist trips is critical to reducing our environmental impact. This is why we use only reusable bottles whenever possible and avoid single-use plastics like straws, bags and cutlery. We prefer to buy local products in environmentally friendly packaging, and especially recommend sustainable souvenirs made from natural materials. Conscious consumer behavior can make both a positive contribution to reducing plastic waste and also protect the environment on vacation.

Another very important issue for us is animal welfare. We are involved in various projects, such as swimming with wild dolphins. We are always making sure to not disturb the dolphins during tourist excursions and to respect their natural behavior. We are also involved when it comes to the protection of stray dogs and cats. We work with different hotels to find sustainable solutions and ensure the animals are well-looked after. Your support and donations are of great importance in this process, which is why we have also joined forces with the German animal protection association "Tierschutz Arabia Felix e.V.", which works to protect animals in various areas on site.
